From within a broken SNES and a glitched out Moog, a genesis of musical force in a luminous bog. The fog clears and from it may arise, Tortilla Katour with a million eyes. On afar, he is watched with a skeleton eye. Breaking the mold, bones unfold and he begins to dance as T.K.laughs. Drums ripping the rabbit fish from the sky, straight synth shooters catching stray bullseyes. With a metallic clack, a trancy beat emits from the magic drum rack. Open your boney third eye, baby bone boy, says the rabbit fish. Put on your headphones like the Jackaloupe’s wish. Tortilla Katour’s kit is warmed and lit, time for Baby Bone Boy’s good night kiss.
Album Notes:
Mostly constructed during late 2019 and 2020 pre/ongoing COVID-19 chaos, Baby Bone EP is a love letter to video game music while taking heavy lean doses into psychedelic beat tapes a la Madlib. With Tortilla Katour working his rhythmic magic and gorgeous synth sections, he’s never sounded more powerful. Or more stoned. Grab your GameBongs and dance along with Baby Bone Boy. Look at him go. Tortilla Katour Bio:
Lifelong drummer, chill dude living in LA making chill, kooky and grotesque beats. Enjoys petting his cat Pancake and hanging out with his awesome, also chill, wife Kirsten. Loves LaCroix, PBnJ’s and defunding the fucking police. Look at him go!
